Nighttime Skincare Routine

The Products I use for my skin type:

Steps:

As always, keep your hair out of your face!
Now, you want to use whatever makeup remover you have to take off any stubborn makeup (waterproof anything, eyeliner, heavy concealer). The one I'm using is Lancome Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover 1.7 fl.oz. Johnson's baby oil is a good product to get rid of waterproof makeup also.

While taking a shower, I use my Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Acne Wash to prevent acne and to get the oils off my face.

After my shower, I focus on washing my face. I switch between these three products. I use the St.Ives Face Scrub every other day. I use the Lancome Cream Mousse Confort to remove any face makeup like foundation, concealers, cream blushes, that might not have gotten cleaned up in the shower. If I didn't wear any makeup that day, I still wash my face using Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Cleanser. Don't forget to put your headband back on!
Back at the vanity, I use a pad from the Clearasil Rapid Action Pads and focus on the parts of my face that are prone to acne like my chin, around my nose, and forehead. The places differ from person to person. Then I spread it evenly throughout the rest of my face.
Although it's hard to see, I use a small amount of the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum. I apply this to my face by putting a small amount on my hand, patting it onto the other, then with light hands patting in all over my face evenly. Then taking my fingers, I tap my face just to get the circulation going and help the serum get into my skin.
Finally, I moisturize my face with Cetaphil lotion and my lips with Carmex lip balm.
This nighttime skincare routine really helps me keep my skin looking and feeling clear. Although you may need to change some of the products to accomodate your specific skintype (which you can find out here), you can follow my guide as a starting point for starting your routine.
