Eau de Parfum Reviews

Eau de Parfum

Perfume is something that I hold very near and dear to me. I admit I have a slight obsession, but as an obnoxious girly girl it's inevitable that I would have so many bottles of perfume. These are the perfumes and mists I'm currently wearing, along with my review of them.

Juicy Couture          Sophisticated for School

I received this .5 fl. oz. eau de parfum spray as a gift for Christmas last year. Ever since, I have been using it as my go-to perfume when I am rushing frantically in the morning before school. It lasted for a whole year, and was fairly priced at around $28.00. I believe its longevity is due to its strong scent with one to two sprays being enough to smell for hours on end. I would get compliments by friends whenever I wore the product, so its very noticeable and distinct to people around you. The packaging is petite and probably even pocket sized...not that I would put it in my pocket or anything...

Polo Ralph Lauren Romance          Sweet Weekend

This is definitely one of my favorite perfumes of all time. This 1 fl. oz. bottle has an elegant and simple design, which makes it charming and easy to openly display. I would usually wear this on the weekends for day and night. Its floral scent is a good transition from a day at the mall with your girls to sweeping away the dreamy guy at the party, or something along those lines. The great thing about this perfume is that for the most part, it will stay on you throughout the day and into the night, so there is no need to respray it when the nighttime arrives. The price is $47.50 and I think its money well spent if you buy it.

Abercrombie and Fitch 8          Date Night Musk

If you're looking for a perfume that is different than the two mentioned above, then this is it. Compared to the floral and sweet scents of the previous perfumes, this one has a strong musky scent that can be smelled from a mile away, no joke. Although it is not my favorite perfume that I own I have worn it a few times, pairing the bold scent with heavy, winter styled pieces like cable knit sweaters, Uggs, and dark wash jeans. If you like the dark musty smell, I would suggest wearing this to a fancy dinner date; somewhere where you know the lighting is dark and romantic, kind of like the store it comes from. At $50.00 for a 1.7 fl. oz. bottle, it is a steal, but I received it two years ago and only used an eighth of it so far, just to put that into perspective.
