How To:
Bobby Pin Holder: After you've burned the last bit of your candle, try to get as much of the wax out of the jar as possible. There are many online tutorials on how to do this. Then I filled up the jars with beads from an old necklace and some charms that fell off a bracelet. Finally, place your bobby pins or clips in the jars and if you want to take it a step further, you can decorate the outside of the jars (shown below).
What you'll need: Super Glue, Mini Candle Jar, Sharpie, Beads.
- Mark on the Jar where you want to place the beads. You can place them around the candle or do a design on one side like I did.
- Carefully glue the beads on and let dry.
What you'll need: Super Glue, Mini Candle, Old Charms
- Depending on your charms, you can place them anywhere in or on the jar. I glued the Eiffel tower charm in the middle of the jar then the heart and bow charm on the outside.
Cotton Ball Holder: After cleaning out the bottle, just take ribbon and tie it around the neck and glue it in place.
Perfume/Makeup Holder: Organize one shelf for flat items and the other for tall items that stick out. To make the label, cut out a small rectangle from scrap booking paper and a smaller rectangle from printer paper. Tape the smaller piece of paper onto the larger piece and label as such.
Tube/Brush Holder: Organize by brushes, mascaras, concealers, and lip products. You can hang tweezers on the edge also.
